We had York’s replace our front door and shutters in September of 2013 and then we again had them in to fix some dry wall issues in February of 2014. 

Our projects included replacing our old front door and its sidelights and replacing the outside shutters, mudding cracked, old plaster, installing trim and painting.

 

York’s is very professional. They issue a written estimate of the cost and scope of the project. Then they do their best to stay within that estimated cost for the project. They have good relationships with the quality home product suppliers in the area. They made recommendations that improved the results of the project and if more extensive repairs were needed, they let us know. They found better door handles for us that make opening doors easier. It was also impressive that they put up plastic sheets to keep the dust down and the air conditioning in. York’s understands what needs to be done before they start. In fact we trusted them enough to loan them a key to let themselves in to work while we were at our jobs; they never had to call and interrupt us at work with questions. We were very grateful for the clean-up at the end of the day and at the end of the project.

 

We were very pleased with the results of their work. The front of our house has been given a facelift that has increased its curb appeal. The wall repairs and paint make the inside of the house look like a new house.

 

We will and have recommended York’s to friends and neighbors.
